A current work in progress, I Own My ID will help consumers control the information that is bought and sold about them, and actually profit from the sale of any of their information they permit as public. Scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2010, this may turn into an exciting opportunity for privacy rights advocates as well as average Joe who would simply like to be the one compensated when his information is sold.
